8 Runbury xx

I will always remember Nanny H with great fondness, she was by far the easiest going person I have ever met, she had to be with all the comings and goings at 8 Runbury! I spent countless days and nights at her house with Joe and Claire, it was our second home for many years and never did Nanny moan about the noise or the mess or the 'smell' we made, as long as we made her a cuppa (with her favourite condensed milk) she was happy! I remember her always sitting in the kitchen, either in front of her little telly, doing the Express crossword or at the big table doing a 40,000 piece puzzle. She was quiet but sharp as a button, no flies on her and it was a great honour for me and Claire when we got a selection box at Christmas as this meant we were 'part of the family' Rest in Peace Nanny, you will be sorely missed. With Love Millie (Melinda) xxxxx
